ANTONINUS PIUS POSTHUMOUS ISSUE, (A.D.138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, commemorative issue, struck shortly after his death in 161, (3.4 grams), obv. bearded bare head to right, around DIVVS ANTONINVS, rev. funeral pyre, surmounted by Antoninus in quadriga, around CONSECRATIO, (S.1302, RIC 436, BMC 57). Nearly very fine and scarce.
