OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (2.88 grams), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around IMP M OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Securitas standing to left, holding wreath and sceptre, around SECV RI TAS P P, (S.744 [£650], BMC 19, RIC 10, C.15). Attractive dark grey tone, nearly very fine and very rare.
