SAMARIA, Satrap issue, 375-345 B.C., silver obol, 0.55 grams, Meshorer & Qedar `Coinage of Samaria' (CS) CS 5 (29 known), Samaria Hoard NO.56 (This Coin illustrated and described) (p.72 Pl.21), obv. head of Athena to left, wearing crested helmet, border of dots off flan, rev. Lion attacking a stag on right, legend in Aramaic off flan. Very fine and very rare.
