BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Antimachos, (c.171-160 B.C.), silver drachms, (5) of type, Nike advancing left, rev. the king on horseback prancing right, (S.7546), Menander (c.160-145 B.C.), silver drachms (11), obv. helmeted or diademed bust left or right, rev. Athena Pallas standing left or right hurling thunderbolt and holding shield, (S.7600, 7604, 7605). All heavily cleaned, with porosity and corrosion, otherwise very good - fine. (16)

Ex. Classical Numismatic Group, December 8, 1993, (lot 771) where it was described as all coming from a common hoard, a lot for the student to research.
