SYRIA, Coele-Syria, Damascus, Augustus, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE 20, (6.79 grams), issued year 283 = 30-29 B.C., obv. laureate head to right, of Augustus, rev. Tyche seated to left, holding cornucopiae, river god below, all in wreath, around **DAMASKHNWN, L GPS* the date as always retrograde, (cf.S.293 [Tiberius], RPC 4786). Nearly very fine and very rare.
