SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus I, Soter, (280-261 B.C.), AE 21, Seleucia on the Tigris mint, (9.4 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo facing three-quarters to right, rev. Nike advancing right to trophy of arms erected on tree stump, outer field **PA* monogram, to left **BASILEWS to right [A]NTIOXOY, (S.-, newell ESM 167, p.64). Good fine/ very fine, scarce in this condition.
