ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (380-345 B.C.), silver nomos, stater or didrachm, (6.6 grams), obv. warrior on horse to left galloping holding shield, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, [TAPA**S]* below, (cf.S.336, cf.Vl.384-5, cf.SNG ANS 901-4). Porosity and damage on both sides, otherwise good fine.
