BANK OF NEW ZEALAND, seventh issue, one pound, Wellington, 1 April 1918, No. B887922, imprint of Bradbury Wilkinson & Co Engravers London, with No 7 Issue on base of back, (L.459, P.S225, Robb 16a). With many folds and creases, otherwise very good and rare.
This placement of 'No.7 Issue' at the base of the note obviously commenced with this dated issue although clearly many were released with earlier numbers without that statement in place.
