SHAMSU-D-DIN ILTUTMISH, (607-633 A.H., 1210-1235 A.D.), silver tankah, (10.4 grams), Lakhnauti mint, probably an issue struck by Governor of Bengal Hisam -D -Din Iwaz, of Iwaz fabric, type II, uncertain date (c.620's A.H.), obv. four line legend within circle trace of date around, rev. six line legend, (Wright 49L, M.-, Hull 45-46, Rajgor 825). Of different style to previous two lots, nearly very fine, weak in places as usual, very rare.
