MAGNENTIUS, (A.D. 350-353), silver siliqua, Treveri (Trier) mint, [3.388 grams], obv. bare headed bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around D N MAGNEN TIVS PF AVG, rev. Virtus standing to right, holding spear and leaning on shield, in exergue TR, around VIRTVS EXERCITI, (S.4016, RIC 304, C.81, Bastion 54). With an attractive deep blue-black patina, extremely fine and extremely rare.

Bastion knew of only three examples, this coin is the only one not in a museum collection.
