Ex Spink Australia Sale 11 (lot 148) Ludwig Hirshfeld-Mack (b.Germany 1893, arr.Australia 1940, d.Victoria 1964) was one of founding members of the Bauhaus movement in Germany before going to London and then on to Australia, where he was interned at Tatura in 1941.
