Porous, usual flan, light weight and rough surfaces, about fine and a scarce date, with certificate of wreck source.
From the wreck of the 'Nossa Senhora Da Luz'. See note above. This coin was sold at Public Auction November 6, 1997 by the Auction house of Castells & Castells, catalogue 84, Montevideo in Uruguay. This coin was lot 172 (No.8/13) from that sale.
