BOLIVIA, Philip V, (1700-1746), cob four reales, Potosi mint, 1736 (dated twice), assayer E, (11.5 grams), obv. arms of Leon and Castille, 7X6 below, rev. two crowned pillars, 4 above, 736 below, P and E, (KM.30a). Dark tone, usual flan, good weight and surfaces, very fine and a scarce date, with certificate of wreck source.

From the wreck of the 'Nossa Senhora Da Luz'. See note above. This coin was sold at public auction on November 6, 1997 by the Auction house of Castells & Castells, catalogue 84, Montevideo in Uruguay. This coin was lot 167 (No.3/7) from that sale.
