BOLIVIA, Philip IV (1621-1665), cob eight reales, countermarked crown/F type c.1651, host coin dated but off flan, c.1650, Potosi mint, Assayer O, (22.8 gms), (Cal.497-8 [without countermark], KM.C19.3). Struck with usual weak areas, small flan crack, dark hoard colour tone, generally very good - fine and a very rare countermark on only this coin type.
Ex. `Maravillas' wreck.
