BOLIVIA, Philip IV (1621-1665), cob eight reales, countermarked crown/L type c.1651, date off flan, Potosi mint, Assayer O, (26.8 gms), (Cal.497-8 [without countermark], KM.C19.2). Struck with usual weak areas, flan crack, dark grey colour tone, generally fine and a very rare countermark on this type coin.
