BOLIVIA, Philip IV (1621-1665), cob eight reales, countermarked crown/L type c.1651, date off flan but 1649, Potosi mint, Assayer Z, (26.9 gms), (Cal.496 [without countermark], KM.C19.2). Struck with usual weak areas, uneven colour tone, coin generally fine, countermark very fine and a very rare countermark on this type coin.
