BOLIVIA, Philip IV (1621-1665), cob one real, transitional issue, dated, [16]5 [2], Potosi mint, (2.6 gms), Assayer E, (cf.Cal.900, KM.A13.1). Struck on an irregular flan with some off-centering and double striking, silver colour, fine and extremely rare.

Ex. `Maravillas' wreck. The transitional issue of 1652 with square sided shield arms are not described as different types in Cal. The rarity of these lower denominations for the transitional issues is much greater than the corresponding eight reales issues.
