ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 218, (2.910 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around FIDES EXERCITVS, Fides seated to left, holding an eagle and standard, another standard before her, (S.-, RIC 71, RSC 32). Well centred, nearly extremely fine/good very fine, scarce.
