ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 220-222, (3.644 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around ABVNDANTIA AVG, Abundantia standing half left, emptying cornucopiae across body, star to right, (S.2091, RIC 56, RSC 1a). Slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise extremely fine, scarce.
