EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII, (80-51 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, second reign issue 55-51 B.C., issued year 28 = 54-53 B.C., (13.584 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. head of Ptolemy XII to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front L KH over head-dress of Isis, around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, (S.7948, Sv. 1837, SNG Cop 395, BMC 32-3). Weak in places, good very fine.
