THRACE, Callatis, (3rd-2nd century B.C.), silver drachm (or octobol Sear) (3.798 grams), obv. head of young Herakles to right clad in lion skin, rev. **KALLATIA* between ear of barley and club on left and bow case on right, (S.1659 [£225], Pick 196, SNG BMC 201-2 variant). Extremely fine and very rare.
