NIGERIA, Macgregor Laird, 1/8th penny or 1/400th dollar, 1858, farthing size token in copper (21mm), no smoke emitting from funnel (Die I) (V.7). Weakly struck in places as ususal otherwise attractive brown patina, nearly extremely fine and rare, the rarest of the three die varieties.
