KIMBERLEY, De Beers Consolidated Mines Ltd, Store or truck tokens, set I, in brass 2/6, 1/-, 1/- large central hole, 6d right side cut off, 3d square; set II in white metal, dumbell shaped piercing for Bultfontein, another set III, with crescent shaped piercings for Dutoitspan, another set IV without piercings for Wesselton, all the foregoing, white metal sets have animal countermarks 2/6 springbok, 1/- lion, 6d sheep and 3d hare (T.C56; M.412-35 range). A complete set of these metal issues, undated but circa 1890. Fine - nearly extremely fine and rare as such (17).
