ARGENTINA, Coliseo de Buenos Aires, admittance ticket in copper (33mm) struck in 1840 for entrance to the Comedy Theatre. Struck at the Buenos Aires Mint on blanks prepared for the 2 reale coins of 1840 (Rulau 118). Very fine and rare.
Purchased from Baldwin in 1992.
