U.S.A., California, Pioneer Gold Series Shultz & Co five dollars 1851, trial impressions in copper, possibly made as uniface impressions and joined (weight gms and no solid ring). Almost obliterated in the centre both sides otherwise very fine and probably unique.
Ex Roy Coote Collection and purchased by him from a Lawson's Sale in Sydney in 1948.
