BARBAROUS IMITATION, Pannonia-Bulgaria region of Q. Antonius Balbus, (c.50 B.C.), silver denarius, uncertain mint, (3.72 grams), obv. Jupiter laureate head to right, FAN SC behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, P below, Q ANTO BAM/PR exergue, (cf.S.274, cf.Cr.364/1d, cf.Syd.742b, cf.B.Antonina 1d). Serrated edge, very fine and very rare.
