MARK ANTONY, (33 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Mark Antony, (3.48 grams), obv. head of Mark Antony to right, ANTON AVG I[MP III. COS. DES. III. III. V.R.P.]C. around, rev. in two lines ANTONIVS/AVG IMP III, (S.411 [£450], Cr.542/2, Syd.1209, C. Mark Antony 2 [£200]). Off centred on the obverse, attractive grey patina, very fine and rare.

Ex. Glendining's London, 1 June 1989 (lot 106). Crawford has determined that less than 30 obverse dies were used for this type.
