MARK ANTONY AND OCTAVIA, (36-35 B.C.), AE as, Fleet Coinage, Sicilian mint (possibly also Zacynthus), (4.35 grams), obv. conjoined heads of Anthony and Octavia to right, around [M ANT IMP TER]T COS DESIG ITER ET [TERT III VIR] R.P.C., rev. galley sailing to right, A below, M OPPIVS CAPI[TO PRO PR PRAEF CLAS]S F.C. around, (S.437 [£275], Cr.-, Syd.1268, C.11, CNR Vol.II p.114-5). Even brown patina, worn legends, otherwise fine - very fine and rare.
