C. CLODIUS C.F. Vestalis, (41 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.71 grams), obv. bust of Flora to right, C. CLODIVS C.F. around, rev. VESTALIS behind, Vestal virgin Claudia Quinta seated to left, holding bowl with two handles (cymbium), (S.333 [£110], Cr.512/2, Syd.1135, B. Claudia 13 [£50]). Off centred on obverse and reverse, otherwise very fine/fine and very scarce.

Ex Christie's London, 13 October, 1992 (lot 632 part). 30 obverse dies used for this type as calculated by Crawford.
