L. MUSSIDIUS LONGUS, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.45 grams), obv. veiled bust of Concord to right, CONCORDIA behind, rev. L. MVSSIDIVS LONGVS around below two clasped hands holding a cornucopiae, (S.-, Cr.494/41, Syd.1092, B. Mussidia 5 [£75]). Attractive blue and gold patina, slightly off centred on obverse, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.

Ex Sotheby's London, 4 November, 1982 (lot 468 part). Less than 30 obverse dies used for this type as calculated by Crawford.
