L. LIVINEIUS REGULUS, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.34 grams), obv. head of praetor L. Livineius Regulus to right, rev. [L. L]IVINEIVS above modius, between two ears of corn, [REGVLVS] in exergue, (S.329 [£150], Cr.494/29, Syd.1111, B.Livineia 13 [£100]). Attractive dark patina, off centred on the reverse, otherwise good very fine and rare.

Ex Dolphin Coins, November 16, 1986 and J. Lepczek, auction sale 22 September 1978 (lot 127, illustrated). Less than 30 obverse dies used on this type according to Crawford.
