P. CLODIUS M.F.TURRINUS, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.65 grams), obv. Apollo head laureate to right, lyre behind, dotted border, rev. brockage of obverse, (cf.S.328 [£75], Cr.494/23, Syd.1117, B. Claudia 15 [£40]). Attractive dark patina, off centred on the obverse, nearly very fine and very scarce.
