C. CONSIDIUS PAETUS, (46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.50 grams), obv. Venus laureate and diademed head to right, PAETI behind, rev. Victory in quadriga to right, C.CONSIDI in exergue, (S.-, Cr.465/3, Syd.992, B. Considia 6 [£45]). Grey, blue and gold patina, good very fine and very scarce.

Ex. Duke of Northumberland Collection, Sotheby's London, November 4, 1982 (lot 439 part). Smyth V/17. Crawford has determined that 33 obverse dies were used for this type.
