A. PLAUTIUS, (c.55 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.62 grams), obv. Cybele turreted head to right, A. PLAVTIVS before, AED CVR S.C. behind, rev. Bacchius kneels to right with camel at his side, with olive branch, BACCHIVS in exergue, [IVDAEVS] on right, (S.304 [£100], Cr.431/1, Syd.932, B.Plautia 13 [£60]); another Cn. Plancius, (c.55 B.C.), Rome mint, (2.75 grams), obv. Diana Planciana to right wearing petasus, CN PLAN[CIVS] AED CVR S.C. around, rev. Cretan goat to right, bow and quiver behind, (S.305 [£90], Cr.432/1, Syd.933, B. Plancia 1). Off centred on obverse with porosity on the second coin, fine - very fine. (2)
