M. NONIUS SUFENAS, (c.59 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.67 grams), obv. Saturn head to right, laureate, SVFENAS before, S.C. and harpa and conical stone behind, rev. Roma seated to left, being crowned by Victory standing behind her, SEX. NONI in exergue, around PR. L. V. P. F., (S.-, Cr.421/1, Syd.885, B.Nonia 1 [£50]). Minor surface marks, even grey patina, good very fine and scarce.
