L. CASSIUS Q.F. Longinus, (c.78 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.96 grams), obv. head of Liber or Bacchus to right, thyrsus over shoulder, rev. head of Libera to left, L. CASSI Q.F behind, (S.-, Cr.386/1, Syd.779, B. Cassia 6). Very fine and very scarce.

Ex. Joseph Lepczyk Mich., Sale 36, October 23, 1980 (lot 676). Crawford calculates 32 obverse dies used by this moneyer in his coinage.
