C. MARIUS C.F. Capito, (81 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.61 grams), obv. Ceres draped bust to right, hair bound in corn-wreath, C.MARI C.F. CAPIT XIII around, rev. husbandman plowing to left, with yoke of oxen, XIII above, (S.279 [£85], Cr.378/1a, Syd.744, B.Maria 7); another (3.50 grams), similar with CAPIT. XXXVIII behind, symbol before, rev. similar XXXVIII above and C.MARI.C.F./S.C. in exergue. Serrated edge, very good; very fine, first rare. (2)
