C. MARIUS C.F. Capito, (81 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.87 grams), obv. Ceres draped bust to right, hair bound in corn-wreath, C.MARI C.F. CAPIT XII around, rev. husbandman plowing to left, with yoke of oxen, XII above, (S.279 [£85], Cr.378/1a, Syd.744, B.Maria 7). Serrated edge, nearly extremely fine, silver-grey toning, rare.

Ex Dolphin Coins, November 16, 1986 and Stanley Gibbons, London, c.1978. Only 19 obverse dies used for this type according to Crawford.
