MN. FONTEIUS C.F., (85 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.92 grams), obv. Vejovis laureate head to right, MN FONTEI behind, ROMA monogram before, thunderbolt below, rev. infant winged Genius seated on goat below, caps of dioscuri above, thyrsus below, all within laurel wreath, (S.269 [£75], Cr.353/1a, Syd.724). Nearly very fine/good fine, light obverse scratch.
