L. CALPURNIUS PISO FRUGI, (90 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.96 grams), obv. Apollo laureate head to right, two dots behind, three dots before, rev. naked horseman galloping to right holding torch, L.PISO FRVGI, .S. above, (S.254, Cr.340/1, Syd.665b); another (3.83 grams) with star behind, L dot before on obverse, G above on reverse, (Syd.671). First with dark patina, very fine - good very fine. (2)
