L. CALPURNIUS PISO FRUGI, (90 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.73 grams), obv. Apollo laureate head to right, quiver and bow behind, rev. naked horseman galloping to right holding torch, L.PISO FRVGI, O above, dot below, (S.254, Cr.340/1, Syd.664b); another (3.88 grams) with reversed N behind, C before on obverse and L dot above on reverse, (Syd.665). First with dark blue and red patina, good very fine; second very fine. (2)
