CN. BLASIO CN.F. (112-111 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.77 grams), obv. Scipio Africanus the Elder or Blasio, helmeted head to right, * above, CN.BLASIO.CN.F below and before, prow stem behind, rev. Jupiter standing between Juno and Minerva, ROMA in exergue, **P* in right field, (S.231 [£100], Cr.296/1d, Syd.561); another corn ear behind, and rev. with eagle between RO and MA in exergue, A in right field, (Cr.296/1i). Second with knock in reverse field, otherwise, nearly fine - fine, both very scarce varieties. (2)
