ANONYMOUS ISSUE, (c.115-114 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.65 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, X below, ROMA behind, rev. Roma seated right, wolf and twins before, two birds in field, (S.152 [£85], Cr.287/1, Syd.530). Nearly very fine and scarce.

Ex. Glendining's London, May 24, 1972 (lot 249 part). 82 obverse dies used on this coinage according to Crawford.
