NUMERIUS FABIUS PICTOR, (126 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.65 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, E below chin, * behind, rev. The Flamen Quirinalis, Q. Fabius Victor seated to left, shield at side, N.FABI to right, PICTOR to left, ROMA in exergue, (S.-, Cr.268/1b, Syd.517a). Grey patina, very fine and rare.

Ex. Duke of Northumberland Collection, Sotheby's London, November 4, 1982 (lot 253 part). Smyth VII/9. Only 14 obverse dies was used for this coinage according to Crawford.
