C. TITINIUS, (141 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.80 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, XVI behind, rev. Victory in biga to right, holding whip, C.TITINI below, ROMA in exergue, (S.-, Cr.226/1b, Syd.445). Even grey patina, good very fine and rare.

Ex. Duke of Northumberland Collection, Sotheby's London, November 4, 1982 (lot 242 part). Smyth XV/31. Only 16 obverse dies used for this coinage according to Crawford.
