C. CURIATIUS TRIGEMIUS, (142 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.55 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, TRIGE behind, X below, rev. Juno in quadriga to right, crowned by Victory, C.CVR monogram below, ROMA in exergue, (S.196 [£75], Cr.223/1, Syd.436). Blue and gold tone, good very fine and very scarce.

Ex. Duke of Northumberland Collection, Sotheby's London, November 4, 1982 (lot 242 part). Smyth VI/22. The issue was small, Crawford estimates 43 obverse dies used.
