SALONINUS, (A.D. 259), imitative cast medal after original medallion, (39mm) (55.6 grams), obv. bare headed bust of emperor to right, rev. Emperor standing to left holding spear and globe, captive seated at feet, around PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, (cf.Gnecchi 3 [p.111], Pl.116,5). Of good style, good very fine.
