SEVERUS II, (A.D. 306-307), AE folles, Antioch mint, issued A.D. 306-8, (8.208 grams), obv. laureate head of Severus II to right, around IMP C FL VAL SEVERVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding cornucopiae, ANT: in exergue, (cf.S.3747, RIC -). Attractive dark tone, good very fine, unpublished and excessively rare type.

A type not known for Antioch mint and only known for Serdica and Cyzicus mint with this reverse type and this distinctive obverse legend.
