ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 218-222, (3.476 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP CAES ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around FIDES EXERCITVS, Fides seated to left, holding an eagle and standard, another standard before her, (S.-, RIC 68, RSC 30). Well centred, nearly extremely fine/good very fine, scarce.
