DANISH INDIA, Tranquebar, Frederick III, (1648-1670), lead cash (kas), c.1650-1670, obv. crowned F3, rev. HAAB, (Gray 71, KM.54); another with rev. NOR, (Gray 72, KM.56); another rev. elephant to left (Gray 75, KM.79). Fine - very fine and mostly rare. (3)

The first coin refers to Hope and may express a longing or wish for better times or a ship from Denmark, the second to Norway a meaning that is unclear.
